Frequently asked questions
Which variables can I use?
YouTube alerts support @channelTitle, @videoTitle, @videoUrl and @rolePing. Twitch alerts support @channelName, @streamTitle, @channelLink and @rolePing. Each one is replaced with the real value when the alert is posted.
How does the role ping work?
Pick a role in the Social plugin and put @rolePing where you want the mention. Only members with that role are notified, so fans can opt in without pinging everyone.
Why does the link preview not show here?
Discord adds the video or stream card under the message itself when it sees the link. The preview here shows the text your members will read.
