How does colored text work in Discord?
Discord supports a small subset of ANSI escape codes inside a code block that starts with ```ansi. Each color or style is an escape sequence, and this tool writes them for you.
Does colored text work on mobile?
Colors render on the desktop and web apps. Older mobile versions show plain text or the raw codes, so keep the message readable without color too.
Which colors are available?
Eight text colors (gray, red, green, yellow, blue, pink, cyan and white) and eight background colors, plus bold and underline. Discord does not support custom hex colors in messages.
